The Penn Club rents out its space to the Canadian Club of New York, if that helps your decision. I know you are fond of Canada and all its accoutrements.

Touche. I forgot the part where they can't pay their own legal bills so the state picks up the tab.

I am, eh.

That's is good. I can probably get a discount if I show them the maple leaf tattoo on my bum, yes?

Last week I finally learned what the people who report to managers are. "Individual contributors." Which is good, because some may not appreciate the humor of being called minions, which is the only thing I was able to come up with before learning the real name.

At BP, we were "Team Members."

At Shell, it was "Stakeholders."

I hadn't heard individual contributors before. I think your okay with minions as long as none of them are around. Same goes for HR people. The latter also don't like to be referred to as "wastes of space and oxygen."

"Henchpersons" was a flop around my office. Too PC.

slutty redheads

Apparently redheads have more sex than blondes and brunettes. A German said so, so it must be true.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1770

An interesting excerpt: He added that women who dyed their hair red from another colour were signalling they were looking for a partner, and added: "Even women in a fixed relationship are letting their partners know they are unhappy if they dye their hair red. They are saying that they are looking for something better."

True story: my crazy aunt, who is a high school drop-out, is a member of the Yale Club of NY and stays at all of its sister clubs. She lives in Sag Harbor and sold her place in Manhattan, but was very concerned about having a place to stay when she goes to the city. So my brother sponsored her for some sort of family or guest Yale club membership, which she has parlayed into staying at the Penn Club, etc.

She also once auditioned to be a VJ on Much Music, and directed a lame documentary about "It Girls" that appeared on WE a few years back. As far as I can tell, her lifetime earnings is zero.

Like I said, crazy.

If she can afford Sag Harbor, she's eccentric.
