Over the two years before Covid, how many colds did you have?
I know people where one spouse had a billion colds, never got Covid, the other hasn't been sick in years precovid, got it.

Oh, the germs are only on the surfaces. Got it.

I've read this three times and still have no idea what you're trying to say.

Yup, we as a society have chosen not to keep fighting the pandemic.
We need to admit this to ourselves. To avoid a minor inconvenience, we're going to get some people sick, watch some people die, and incur higher medical costs for years.

If you can't understand the difference between (1) lifting a mask to eat or get your teeth worked on and (2) lifting a mask to fly on a plane, I can't help you.

Now I get it - it's definitely your crappy writing to blame.

It boggles my mind. Granted, the risk of dying or getting really sick from Covid is less now than it was in 2020, but still what is the harm from wearing a mask? It's uncomfortable? So is a seat belt. So are pants.
What is the risk of someone else getting cancer from my second hand smoke? But I can't even smoke a Newport on a plane any more.

I'm not adverse to the concept. I just don't know if I need it at this point. Omicron really didn't do much to me, and I think as research continues we might see improved boosts that will be better than what I can get today. Might want to go bareback through the Summer, when transmission tends to be lower.

I got it.

It sounds like it actually IS that hard, since the researchers you referenced aren't even sure.
Thanks for playing.

Why I started the initial post with a question.
It should be pretty obvious that no one knows, it's just a thought.

The Texas Medical Center is decommissioning their Covid dashboard this week under the theory that with vaccinations and meds, transmission in the area is under control, at least as far as hospital capacity is concerned.
They made the announcement that Dr. Peter Hotez, our local Covid celebrity, tweeted he had Covid.
