Plus the new one has a legal theme to it... I was cracking up when I saw the clip on TV where the opposing counsel objects that the witness is being strangled on the stand and the Judge deadpans... "I'll allow it."

As of this moment and until further notice I have placed myself on my ignore list, so if you notice that I am no longer responding to my own posts, you know why.
FWIW, fyi, for the record, not to point fingers but, I blame PLF for this situation.
Perhaps, perchance, if the current state of affairs here changes, for the better, I will begin to initiate the process to remove myself from my ignore list, but, sadly, my hopes for any swift resolution of this situation are slight.

I plan to see this movie this weekend as well. I don't care what critics have said about it so far. I agree with Paigow that critics often don't get intelligent movies. What do you expect from people who voluntarily make it their lifes' work to go watch all the projected pablum appearing in our movie theaters? And even when the Coen brothers' movies are flawed, they are at least interesting and entertaining.

I don't know so much about the "voluntary" part. I mean it is voluntary, like we are voluntarily lawyers. But a lot of them are wannabe filmmakers that never made it. But they still love movies so they want to be close to them. So like a second choice. At least this is what I know from anecdotal observance.
