All three of these brands have become successful on marketing alone
Aren't these all bar beers? Which are, precisely, beers that have successful marketing? I'll admit to drinking these, grudgingly, at a bar, because the choices are bud, bud light, corona, heinekin, and amstel light. basically that's five versions of budweiser, three of which happen to have foreign names. But what are you going to do? THey all cost $5, and it's outrageous, but it's not like it's BYOB night.

At home? None of these.

Um, don't let any Peruvians hear you say that. (That's like saying the best aquavit is Mexican.)

Edited to add that I consumed way too much GCA in college...
I think Coors light is the worst beer ever. Flavorless. No wonder they need to spend so much $$ on advertising. Same with Miller Lite. Followed closely by Amstel light. (Why do people drink lite beer anyway? - I cannot drink as much beer as I used to, but I would prefer that what I drink have some flavor - if you don't want the calories, drink less of the real stuff)

Now Steeler beer, that's a beer. (j/k, for anyone familiar with Steeler beer)

Around here, it's easy to get the following at the local public house: Boddingtons, Cafferys, any Sierra, Goose Island, Sam Seasonals, Harp, Bells (Sooooo good), etc...

Of course this city only has about 500 less bars than NYC (I think it's 2200 for NYC and 17XX for Chicago)...

One of my best friends drinks either Amstel Light or Rolling Rock when she drinks beer. When she drinks wine, she likes white zinfy. I try not to hold this against her but sometimes it's hard. Seriously, I think the blandness is part of the appeal with all of these drinks.

Heineken always tastes skunked, it's nasty. Genny Cream Ale - ugh. We used to get that in beer balls. Does Steeler Beer have anything to do with Iron City Light (nasty)? My favorite bad beer is Golden Anniversary. In NJ we could get a case for under $10. College swill of choice was either Narragansett or Knickerbocker. Every know and then we'd splurge and get some Molson Brador.

It's a really great number. Do people still do K races on the new board? If so:

K -- BOO-YEAH!

Lah dah dee, lah dee dah.

Now my day is complete...back to billing so I can pay for it.

My point is Rust Never Sleeps is a great fucking record. I dig Neil's garage rock heavy metal stuff as much as his lighter shit.

I defy any angst riddled kids like Pearl Jam or Rage or even PE to put out an angrier piece of cultural criticism than Rockin in a Free World.

"There's one more kid that'll never get to school, never get to fall in love, never get to be cool..." From most, that shit would sound like idiot sophomore tripe, but from Neil its razor sharp.

S(That said, I ain't going to see his new tour where he forces the audience to endure an entirely new rock-opera)D

Try some Sam Adams. It is pretty good beer. In the summer, the Heffeweissen (sp?) is also pretty good. I am not a connaissuir of good beer or anything else--as you can probably tell since I would probably be able to spell it if I were one--but I, IMHO, think it doesn't taste shitty, but YMMV.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement, but for reasons of liability, that is as far out on a limb as I am willing to go.

These drinks are the kiddie-bike training wheels of alcohol--you use 'em til you're ready for big-kid booze.

Perhaps she'd like a sloe gin fizz to ease her into liquor--sort of like a Shirley Temple for grown-ups. Or maybe a Pina Colada?

Duuuuude, Katie sucks ass. Spanking W in a debate is tee ball. Most second year reporters can baffle the guy.

As to Bruuuuuce, my opinion remains - History's Greatest Monster.

I rather thought that was Not Bob's point.

Really, Seb darling, do I have to explain everything to you?

P.s. I share your feelings re: Katie and Matt. How did Katie get to be a big time TV personality with that gummy smile?
