I don't understand those "Where's the Beef?" commercials. What are they for, anyway?

I suspect your personal issues might have precluded you from appreciating the joke there.

MasterCard. Having true fans is priceless. Until you lose your second Championship Game to New England in as many years and your fans decide to whoop your ass.
I watched the games on and off yesterday with the sound off. Not participating in a playoff pool this year, coupled with all the teams I like being out of the running, has lead to my lowest interest level in recent years in playoffs. I am glad Philly won, but only because it means we can stop hearing about the curse yadda yadda yadda. I know that is sort of selfish of me.
I don't buy that these QBs are particularly overrated. Of course when they are winning games, their dicks will be sucked on air. When they aren't winning, the get blamed for shit like having receivers who drop passes too. Just part of the position. Whether you'd want Culpepper or Brady would depend on the team you have to build around the guy. Brady isn't overrated. He's won two Super Bowls.
Still, if I were building a team, I'd take Payton Manning. Sounds like I'd get him too if I were drafting against TM and the rest of ya. Anyone want to play fantasy football next year?

He's won, in large part, because of his team. When I say he's overrated, I mean that he gets way too much credit, relative to the credit the rest of his team gets (especially his offensive line), than he deserves.

Yeah. He sure is awesome for regular season fantasy football. Good for him. I hope those fantasy football trophies he wins fill the gaping gash in his soul that I thought only a championship would fill.

I thought the movie made watching pathetic lives very interesting, without resorting to happy endings (the daughter still marries the loser; Dad consigns himself to acceptable wedding speech; Mom ends up in a cheap casket). And the ultimate futility of our jobs by poking fun at the American way to retire (cooking stew in our Winnebagos, collecting Hummells). And our petty and spoiled upper middle class concerns as shown through the inappropriate letters to a poor six year old. Even if you hate the movie, you are least get a nudie shot of the lady who hobbled James Caan in that movie Misery. That's got to count for something.

I am also intrigued by the name of the photograph: ZSphynxNude.jpg. Who describes a cat as a "nude"? Is this a term of art in the cat breeding world, or is the person who named this file just weird?

Maybe its in contrast to the artist's renditin of "Fuzzy Sweater Hairless Cats" ?

This is what documentaries are for. Fictional movies should not strive to have the look and feel of documentaries. I'm also of the opinion that they should have at least a few minutes that can be considered of interest. About Schmidt sucked.

I think Brady understands this. From what I've seen, he's typically deflected credit to the rest of his team.

If I squint carefully when reading your posts, I realize that you're not a Manning fan. Why is that? What has he done in his public statements to lead you to the conclusion that he's a whiner? I ask because I haven't seen much of him, other than highlights.

Those stupid mastercard commercials pushed me from Manning-ambivalent to Manning-hater.
