Yes. But I took the "it" in "It frumps" to refer to the dress, not to the shoes. The use of the singular tense and all. And I apologive for not noting the shoes. I certainly would have, had I known you care.

Why? Although Biel is hot, she's no Alba.

Okay. Nevermind. It's a toss-up.

He announced he was forming his own company minutes before they "dropped" him.

So he didn't ask for a divorce but he made it clear he had been fucking his secretary and the two had moved in together.

Damn, you're right. Pure genius. (I love that movie. Other than Midnight Run, it was also Charles Grodin's best work.) He was also great in The In Laws. "Serpentine! Serpentine!"

I saw Kill Bill this weekend. Can't wait to see Volume 2 which is sitting atop the TV.

I want to see Invincible but keep forgetting to call the babysitter.

Ouch.

You didn't give yourself a black eye, did you?

And apropos of nothing, I give Little Miss Sunshine a solid B. Alan Arkin is hilarious (which should surprise no one).
Agreed on all counts. The payoff at the end really pays off as well. But Arkin makes the movie.

Speaking of Sundancey flicks, I give Quincenera an A-. It features one of my favorite characters in recent movies, Tio Tomas. The whole thing takes place in Echo Park, which is the next town over from Silver Lake. It's kind of about gentrification, which made me feel like a shit for kicking out the sweet old Mexicans who've lived here for 40 years. But then I realize I bought my house from the original owner -- a mean white woman. So then I felt better.

Paris's face is going to age into something akin to a catcher's mitt with eyes in the middle.

I notice more and more as she ages that the space around her eyes seems to get bigger.

Or it could have been the high def TV fucking with me. Sometimes, it distorts things.

Paris makes a hell of a lot of money through all the crap (books, events, "singing", "acting", etc.) she does. Her great grandfather wrote all of his kids out of the will, so it's not as if she's unaware that that sort of thing can happen.

Ack!!! I know I'm a timmy, but I just can't help it.

It's Paris's and hers. Plus, as a logical matter, if it's not her money yet, it's not Paris's money yet either.

I don't really care about the fact that Tori spells her name with only one r because I don't know what to do with that construction anyway.

My head really hurts today.
