Run in the morning? after work? midday lunch is hard for me.
Am interested in this answer too, just don't have a break for an excuse.

You'd better not be penske, but in case you are, I'm just going to give you a quick answer.

Go Slower.

Really. That's it. Until last year, I could never run more than about 6 or 7 minutes at a time, because I would go too fast and get out of breath and have to stop to walk. Slowing down made all the difference. I'm planning to run the NY Marathon in November, and am up to about an hour and a half (my longest run to date).

As for time of day, I do my best running in the evening. I don't know why. I think it has to do with the temperature.

Hey, thanks dtb.

That is great advice. I think that is a common mistake to sprint and then die out and stop to walk.

By the way--congrats on plans to run NY Marathon that is very cool.

I went this morning but the mugginess made it hard but I am less out of breath every time I go/the more regularly I go.

Last ? Should I run every day or go every other day to let my body heal/take a break...

Shoes: Saucony

IPod: Check it--downloaded some new cheesey music for running, haven't downloaded the ITunes Nike Running mixes yet...

Shirt: Champion T shirt and bike shorts

I am, believe it or not, really low maintenance.

I mean this in a polite way-

is your problem with running limited to endurance issues? because if there are weight issues, and we are confident you will resolve those if there are, you might not want to use the bike shorts just yet.

Less so than he fed your masturbatory fantasies.

Actually, IPod mini I am upgrading to a video i-pod soon as the battery kicks it--can't wait.

No bracelets to speak of.

Note to Hank: My t shirt is pretty baggy and long it is a pretty modest get up [I would never let it all hang out.] My legs are fine. Actually they are decent.
