The only irony in the situation is that in being submerged he was unable to narrate his own demise with his characteristic zeal.

I lost about 25 pounds and everyone is making a huge deal about it. Which makes me self conscious.
AoN I am fitting into my pre baby clothes. The shirt I am wearing is 7-8 years old and a size medium. coolness.

I have never, ever alluded to myself as thin.

Actually, the fact that he had handled the most deadly snakes and reptiles and not been harmed, but was killed by a relatively harmless animal, that's ironic.

Apparently there's video of his death, including shots of him pulling the barb out of his own chest.

Heh. I've swum with sting rays and not been killed. I'm a better animal wrangler than the Crocodile Hunter!
I suspect a version of the above will be on tee shirts within a short while.

You'll think differently in a few years...
This guy's death saddened me because he seemed to truly enjoy his life (I glean this from interviews I've seen, not his on-camera shtick, though that indicates an irrepressible enjoyment of life). He also did something good for people, and as goofy as he was, was a pretty inoffensive and entertaining freak. The world can't get enough of those.
But I guess he's lucky in the end; he went out doing what he liked and it was quick.

He annoyed the fuck out of me. Completely unwatchable. Horses, courses, I guess.
