I agree striving to be a good employee and a good spouse are honorable traits - but having a job (or not) and having a spouse (or not) do not impact one's ability to be (or not be) a good person. You made it sound as though until you have a job and a spouse, you aren't even eligible to try to be a good person. Again, I don't really think you mean that, but it is how it sounds.

And she was being sarcastic. You're just going to have to trust me on this one (or not).

So what? Like Chris Rock said, "You're suppppoooosed to do that!"

you forget before I was married as we all once or are was I was single. It isn't like I'm a flower and gosh, was watered and came alive when I became a domestic goddess! When I was single, while fun and did have more to spend on mememememememmemememe I feel that I was self absorbed and narcissitic a bit....and i'm a better person trying to give to my family. don't you? feel that it is gratifying to give? to be selfless to want the best for your little ones? How is that bad?

Perhaps you didn't mean to imply that, but that's how it translates.

How about 5K PR?

It's a good thing I'm sitting down, because I can't believe you -- dtb -- DTB!!! -- just used "impact" as a verb.

The world doesn't make sense to me anymore.

Oh hello Sebby. Yes, prior firms senior partners do the drive by the queen's wave as they are motoring by in Grand Central blowing your staff ass off.

Your opinions about your level of popularity and attractiveness to random men on the street or in sbux IRL are what they are. I would throw those into a fairly general "I Like Me" category. I'm happy to go back and amend my post to note that you seem to like yourself quite a bit*, if that helps though it might be covered by "braggy". Though I should also probably amend at the same time to note that you don't seem to get sarcasm or hyperbole very well.

*Generally speaking, I am a huge proponent of Me, so I'm not saying this is a bad thing, necessarily.

It's not bad. It's fine. But it's not better than anyone else's choice.

I just had a kid and people now say to me "Isn't it wonderful! Now you reaslly understand 'life.'" Bullshit. Its a fucking kid. I don't understand anything. I just have one more head under the roof and less sleep. No great epiphany. I'm no better or worse than I was the day before she popped the fucker out.

I blame that insidious no-end-of-the-day banner.
