Alive (but disbarred). But should be shot for that tie. Seriously, WTF? Do juries actually sympathize with shit like that? (Your Honor, we the jury find the defendant not guilty, but his attorney guilty . . . of horrible taste)
Dead (unless it's a lookalike for Dave Thomas)

The correct answer is "dead" for both, if you're talking about careers. Government says Bailey owes them $5 million.

Maybe he'll be flipping burgers FOR Dave before long.

You IMed me repeatedly to chime in on your "so-called" dilemma - so I did. And then got annoyed when I didn't and told me that I "suck" and "fuck you". As if I didn't have more important things to do this morning. I guess I could have just actually typed "He's a guy - yes, he probably wants to fuck you and nothing more. Big fucking deal."
And since apparently you have no sense of humour - perhaps my joke hit a little too close to home - you now want to get cutesy and make Paigow jokes, try to claim that another poster dumped me and I somehow got VD.
Do you really want to go there?

Boy, and I was explaining strange parental behavior yesterday on these boards by suggesting that strange hormonal stuff makes us essentially halucinogenic. Are you sure there isn't something stronger than alcohol involved in any of this?
Barely, the key thing is whether or not he's a nice boy with good long term prospects. If so, I'd suggest asking him on a date, maybe a church social at first, and at some point gently picking up his hand and staring into his eyes.
If he stares back, propose to him on the spot, and put yourself out of this obvious misery of a single life!

Barely's Boy Dilemma
Barely,
Just toss back a few drinks then kiss him. If nothing then happens you can both laugh it off as a drunken mishap with no major loss of dignity. Then let us know what happens so we can all help you slag him if he disses you.
Either way, he sounds like a distinctly better match for you than not7ys. ![Wink](http://www.lawtalkers.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

shoe update
I'm considering these --

[spree -- how bad can it be, the site is nordstrom.com?]
I've liked Franco Sarto sandals the last couple of years but they don't appear to have any out this year that will work for me. E/O, thanks for the input -- still under consideration...

|
How close was he when he said it?
If he made a face like, "What is that delightful fragrance?" and leaned in close enough to your neck for you to feel his body heat and his hot breath made you shiver and break out in goose bumps, then he wants to jump your bones. And he probably will.
If he said it from across the table, you have too much on and he's trying to tell you politely (so when he jumps your bones your perfume won't stick on him).
If he said it and asked you how much it cost, he wants to buy it for his current girlfriend (and wants to see your reaction, because he wants to jump your bones on Fridays and hers every other day).
If he said it and doesn't have a girlfriend and you think he wants to buy some for a future girlfriend, he wants to jump your bones.
If he said it after you mentioned your love for Opie from AI, he's trying to change the subject because you're weird.

Are you kidding? Do you need this translated for you?
You guys are friends. He tells you he can't read [your] signals. He likes the way you smell.
The guy sounds like a loser to me, but he clearly wants you. Make a move on him.

Re: shoe update & question?
I don't know how to go back and read your original question about shoes(or didn't bother), but are those shoes for the office? I bought three pairs of shoes for summer, but all are very bare and i'm not sure they are shoes I want to wear to work. Incidentally, most of the spring shoes I saw were very flat, I had a hard time finding shoes with heels.
Next, questions about the board? do you have to quote someone to be able to reply? Can you not just reply? or will that be fixed in the next update?
R(bummed b/c it's cold here and there will be no wearing of summer sandals this weekend)L

At the right-hand bottom of the screen, you'll see a button labeled "post reply."
That enables you to post without quoting.
