Wasn't Harry Hamlin sporting a magnificent mane of Landonesque hair in that movie?

I only had the serendipity once, and I was so drunk I passed out during the act. I still think about her, whatever her name was... I wonder if she remembers me?

Not sure that was the biggest closeted Queenfest in celluloid history to that point? Or unsure I'm not flaming?

If its the latter, as I've said, I'd love to have been gay. Its such a win win.

Take your pick. Great soundtrack, though...

Plus, you have Timothy Dalton in tights, running through the forrest.

Ming had a pretty sweet harem. And the movie had a nice cat-fight between Dale and whoever Ming's chief whench was.

Timothy Dalton sported a pretty sweet porn 'stache, too:

AoN, older brother Not Nick used to blast the Queen soundtrack on the 8-track player of his Camaro in the Podunkville High parking lot every morning to impress the cheerleaders.

It is just so great to hang out with kids my own age who understand these important pop culture references. A few weekends ago, I was at a wedding and turkey was being served (i know - who serves turkey at a wedding), but I said "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly" and no one at the table (all late 20's and maybe one or two 30-year olds) knew what I was talking about. Good thing I was not too drunk or I would have acted out the whole thing, complete with Les spelling out the banner "Happy...... Thanksgiving....... from .....W......K......R......"

It was a sad moment for me. They didn't know that Herb Tarlek matched his belt to his shoes.

Coolest TV name ever:

Gordon Jump

You remember that show even more so if you were a young man watching it.

I'm not sure WKRP played in syndication in other cities quite as prominently as it did in Toronto. But i sure as shit watched it every day in that formative 1983-88 period.
