Part of this issue is who everyone thought he was. I was thinking, over all the Seinfeld episodes was Kramer ever shitty to anyone? The only time I can remember is the last episode, laughing at the fat guy being robbed. So here's this 100% nice dumbell, and he goes really wrong.
Like if it was Dave Atell, he gets away with 60% of that. (I just picked someone who I bet is tough on hecklers- I don't know how Dave responds).
In a comedy club setting a heckler is asking for shit- and it is often personal shit. A fat guy is going hear about that, a bald guy the same, and a black heckler might hear something based upon some alleged stereotype, ("someone get this guy some fried chicken so he'll shut up for awhile"). so I think a white comic could have said bigotted crap to the guy, even hit him with a few Ns.
But given the length and hate level of it, I don't know what "similar racist things" a black comic could say that could be close to equal, but I bet that hypothetical comic would have trouble selling seats to his next show.

To reinforce TM's stereotypes about LA
I will talk about traffic. Traffic that does not even affect my life.
Apparently 5 miles of (southbound, not that it's really all that relevant) the main highway going to the airport, in the area right around the airport, have been closed since about 1 pm and are expected to stay closed until 7 pm.
Sucky.
