I'm incapable of ordering anything but green curry at thai restaurants. They're just so tasty.

I like the red curry. The husband adores the green curry. So I only get red curry like, every other time.

You can't get both?
The closest place to home for Thai take-out has shitty salad rolls/fresh spring rolls/whatever you call them. Pisses me off. Their curries and noodle dishes aren't top-shelf, but adequate for the local take-out option.

*sniff* My wonderful Thai takeout place, just blocks from my house, went under about a year ago.
The guy there knew me by voice, and if it wasn't ready by the time I got from my office to his restaruant, he'd pour me a glass of wine and chat with me while I waited for the kitchen to finish up my order.
The problem was that he took over the restauant, but he didn't change the name. The previous incarnation was just terrible, so people shyed away from it. He never had a good chance to build up a clientele. Those of us who knew him were devoted and never went anywhere else. But there weren't that many of us.

Crust crowd

"SUNDAY 6.24
Melt Banana
7th St. Entry
Last time this insane Japanese art-punk trio (plus drummer) were in town, they showcased a collection of blisteringly chaotic 10-second songs. Fittingly, Bambi's Dilemma, the band's first album in nearly four years, is as fast and frantic as anything they've ever released. After eight full-length albums and a couple dozen 7-inch and EP splits, the band's songs have gotten shorter, faster, and tighter. Agata's space noise slide-guitar-triggered electronic textures are now almost overwhelmed with sheer impassioned velocity. Live, the band's thrashing D-beat rhythms are as propulsive as gasoline. Agata flings his body about (often donning a duct-taped surgical mask), and singer Yasuko O chirps and squeaks like a speed-addled Minnie Mouse tied to the train tracks. It's noisy, chaotic, beautiful, and terrifying; intense enough to draw the hardcore, crust, or black metal crowd, yet weird and brilliantly catawampus enough to hang at the Guggenheim. With Birthday Suits and the Boggs. $10. 8:00 p.m. 701 First Ave. N., Minneapolis; 612.332.1775."

get a head cold. wear light colored long sleeve shirt. wipe snot on sleeve and let dry. repeat until sleeve is hard and greenish.
When dancing keep the arm with the hardened sleeve fixed as the shirt can crack if bent.

a high percentage of baking chocolate chips is made with animal fat base. also the cleaning fluid typically used on the chip making machines used by both Nestle and Hershey has several components that were tested with live animals subjects. animal rights folks like me or ncs avoid the chocolate chips for these reasons.
