Does all of the Beatles music during the keynote suggest that the Beatles will be on iTunes?

That's been in the works for quite some time, and became an inevitability when Apple Inc. and Apple records settled their dispute.

New base station as well
Goodbye NAS?
- Now you can share an external USB hard drive over your wireless and wired network by simply connecting it to the USB port on your AirPort Extreme Base Station. Called AirPort Disk, it's perfect for sharing files, making backups, and more. You can even connect multiple drives and printers using a USB hub.

Right, it becomes unnecessary.

Minor point. You always could have attached an external HD to any computer on the network and access it from any other computer on the network.

Sure, as long as that computer is on (and on the network). This is better, because you can leave a bunch of stuff on the network that's always there.

I tried hooking a few printers up to a USB hub connected to my airport extreme which is hard wired to my PC, but for some reason had no success. I cannot remember why.

You're a partner. You're buying them for us, too.

Indeed. Although with all the slick graphics, I'm quite concerned that Cingular and the wireless web will not really be up to the task of all that sweetness.

I'm a cing subscriber, and I routinely surf the web on my powerbook tethered to my Pearl via Bluetooth. While it's not broadband-fast, it's not bad for a wireless conenction.
