Cafe Raj? Le Cheval? Brennans? Do these serve any Serbia dishes?

Did str8 pay you to say that? Culver City - home of Sony Pictures (formerly MGM) and Fox Studios. Gatti has been known to hang out in building lobbies in Culver City, searching for up-and-coming young starlets to "represent". iykwIm. aIttyd.

If they don't, you should call in the ACLU.

It's possible she would prefer not to go to a Serbian restaurant. Maybe she likes you enough that she was overlooking the slight cheesiness (this is not intended as a put-down, I think it's kind of a cute offer) of the come-on. In fact, wouldn't it be better if she took you to a Serbian place? Show her your world. Don't try to replicate hers.

The other possibility is that she enthusiastically accepted the Serbian restaurant date request because she already knew that there were no Serbian places in the entire Bay Area. Thereby leaving open the impossibility of performance excuse.

Do you get your instincts from having rejected lots, or from being rejected lots?

I like where this is going, ncs; however, I feel compelled to point out that this interpretation leaves open the possibility that she would consider travel somewhere with him. What's the probability that she intended that result, do you think?

He said Serbian restaurant, he did not limit his offer to "in the Bay Area." So more like impracticability. Maybe she really wants to go to Culver City. Wherever that is. Or maybe she's looking for a free ride to Milwaukee.

I know what you are saying, but it was a lot more complicated than that. We talked for about an hour and the whole Serbia restaurant things was kind of a running joke. Hard to explain. But it would be cool if I found one.

She doesn't know of one. When I was talking to her I was just assuming she hadn't looked (come on San Francisco - there had to be one somewhere) but I am now figuring out that is because there isn't one.
