I recommend we kill the bad people quickly and ruthlessly and completely. Then, if some wisenheimer says "is the US bad?" we can say "compare us to people everyone agrees are bad" but they won't be able to because all the bad people (besides us) will be gone, so there will be no point of comparision.

does that help?

I celebrate his death without an inkling of guilt. The world is a better place now that he is dead. The world would be alot better place if more people like him were killed and I hope the US military keeps on killing such people.

Oh, and the latest news reports indicate that the end was not so quick. For the bloodthirsty of the board, it appears he may have suffered horribly as his crushed internal organs slowly failed for close to an hour while blood seeped out of his mouth.
I hope this is right. In a just world he would have a slow and painful death. I hope he died very slowly and painfully and I hope that other terrorists are aware of that fact. If his slow death just causes one terrorist to second guess his next violent action, his slow and painful death will not only have served the ends of justice, but will also have the practical application of saving an innocent life, thus making his slow death morally and ethically even more desirable and beneficial.

This is such a stupid statement. It means nothing. You need to define God or god before it makes any sense. And even if you do define what you mean by God, it is still a pretty stupid statement.

Men in implementing Justice make decisions all the time where other men are stripped of their rights. Sometimes in the name of justice a certain man or men may strip another man of his freedom by jailing them (is that playing God?) and sometimes in the name of justice a man or men take another man's right to life.

You can not determine whether the taking of ones life by an another or others is ethical unless you you know the reasons for such action. The same is true of taking away a man's freedom.

To judge a killing without taking into considerations the reasons for such killing is stupid and ethically indefensible.

You are correct. According the rules laid out in the bible I am going to hell with Marilyn Monroe, Jessica Alba, Angelina Joline and Paris Hilton. Not such a bad way to spend eternity.

Sorry - too late. A simpleton's inconsistent pontifications about ethics and morality awakened me from my hibernation.

I have a feeling that you have very little understanding of what actually goes on in a terrorist's head (especially one who is planning a suicide attack).

Not that I do either, but the point remains.

New Kennedy crash

Do you think the Kennedy family sees it as an improvement that the latest accident killed no women- or do you think he's seen as a wimp by the others? maybe it was a test run?

He's still relatively young. There is still time for him to get his first kill.

Incidently, do you think that the Bush family sees Jenna's late nights of binge drinking at Smith Point as an improvement as she has not yet entered re-hap (aka found Jesus) or is she seen simply as a late bloomer?

Well, Joe, Brad and the Greek kid will be there too, but maybe Jessica will be alone, and to my mind she and Marilyn are the true hotties on your list.

I've done binge drinking, but never the drowned woman nightcap.

She's still young as well. Maybe her mom can give her some tips how to navigate those lonely Texas roads at night.

Behold, we have irony! It may not be pretty, but it is pure.

I am reminded of words I recently heard, set to a lovely tune:

"The wheels of the bus go round and round
Round and round, round and round."

Think.

About.

It.

Is it merely coincidence that traffic on this board is up since PLF started posting here? I think not! Bravo
