Most times when Thurgreed posts to you I believe his right hand is rubbing at himself while he's typing left handed.

My company does not seem to have anything fun or significant or festive in December. At least not the part I work in.

I missed my Generic Winter Holiday Party this year (out of town). Having attended it last year, I'm pretty sure a glaucoma test, if followed by a Cream Soda Dum Dum from the eye doctor's receptionist, would be a more fun and entertaining way to spend an hour and a half.

Our building management company threw a holiday luncheon for everyone in the building (or maybe just my company, fuck if I know). In the garage. It involved pressed turkey loaf and long long lines, because of the "free" aspect of it. I did not attend.

Am I missing something in that you are appear to be using a Stuart Scott line?
On another note, I think it is interesting that the subject of the holidays and related festivities has apparently caused everyone to get really pissed. Is this a lawyers are unhappy bitter people and can't enjoy anything thing?

I'm just bitchy, not actually pissed. And was in a chewing-out mode because something important still has not been done.

You don't have to be Christ to throw a Christmas party.

Ada's Deli on Wabash and Shalom Deli (run by a delightful Japanese family for over 20 years, Hank) on Wells.
But seriously, if you're hungry and as far West as you are, why not jump in a cab and head to Manny's?

Hell sport, you get all pissed off by margins. You really need a vacation.

Incidently, do you think this display is a tribute to the birth of our lord and savior thebabyjesuschristsuperstar amen or just an opportunity to show off and/or audition for an a/v position on Broadway? http://mysite.verizon.net/tlwright6/wmv/wow.htm (spree: sound, and holy shit!)
I'm pretty much left dumbstruck. I just strung some lights around the front porch and put a solar timer on them.

Here's the whole story. Asshole neighbors...

I meant Podunk. I asssumed you had decent deli in Chicago. Shit that's tough. We have really good deli here (West Bloomfield) although when the MIL drives here she brings corned beef, because, you know, you can't get decent corned beef outside NY and Philly.

I know the point of a "holiday party." Debate isn't over what is done; it's over whether that is necessary.
As far as a Dumbass Day Party, is that your way of asking me out on a date? Because you know you'd be first on my invite list for that intimate little gathering.

Actually, it was you people who killed him, in order to keep the the cash flow going from the loan sharking business at the temple. Those truly in the know realize it was the first Mafia hit.

Picture me shooing nonononononononon away with one hand without even a look as I step away to tend to other matters while you step forward to smack her down. If I've got nothing else going on, I may stand and watch with my arms crossed.
