You're right, no doubt, re Pistols and Stooges. Actually, there are some parallels between X and the Stooges; influential and important American band, a few great albums, etc. They should both be in.
I love the Buzzcocks. "Ever fallen in love with someone" is one of the most perfect pop songs of all time. In highschool, I had a home-made Buzzcocks shirt with the lyrics to "Boredom" written on the back. That said, I think DK and Black Flag are more Hall-worthy (whatever that means).

I don't doubt it. Alright already, you can be my internet gf. But don't expect fidelity. If I have to be the good husband irl, then I'm at least going to be sluty on the internet.

Even though my opinion is not uninformed, it is irrelevant and irrational, I agree with you on all of this.
And thank you for replacing the Journey song previously in my head with that Buzzcock's tune.

Well I knew that already. What I want to know is, how did she get a job? On ET? When she's not really Entertaining.

As the STPers repeatedly have explained, those suckers aren't working hard enough. "Yeah, 22 names should be enough. To make it easier, we'll skip Q, X, Y, and Z."
How hard is it to find a Q name? Quincy, Quentin, and so forth. If you have to, skip the need for six to mix into the rotation. Talk about mailing it in. Next year, give some hope to the Xenophons of the world.

But Iggy had the good sense not to try and get the band back together. X did and that hasn't worked out for anyone I can think of. Plus, my cousin was just picked as the guitar player in the Original Sinners then exene killed the band to go on an X tour. That's one less name drop available for me, and my only music industry drop.

X reunions fund Billy Zoom's christian amp-repair and recording studio. Isn't that more important than your name dropping?

This is as close to a motto as I think I'm going to get.
P.S. B'nB -- we definitely need a flowchart. This is getting complicated.

I'm with ncs on her naming system. Only problem is that hurricane C.C. DeVille has already occurred, at the Rock Walk induction ceremony... Good lord how can you stay that high for 20 years? Maybe CeCe Wayans would work.

This would be a funny play on words, except for the fact that no ET host is entertaining in his or her own right, at least not intentionally. Are you familiar with the John Tesh? They are all no-talent assclowns, that's why they do what they do.

If you've ever actually seen that show, your answer is self-evident.
[ETA: Damn you arpy, and your acerbic wit!]

No, I'm not a dude (thank goodness). I was speaking on a transcendental, metaphysical level.
