I hear that a lot.
My kids actually look like they were adopted. From the same attractive Northern European parents. Odd.

Actually as translated in my head, it's more like the helmet thingy that knights in Olde Englande or wherever used to wear.
Because you are my hero.

I have mixed feelings on this one. I tend to agree with Sebby and B n B that coke sex is hardly the best sex. That said, I'm also with Pony, in that I'd like some coke. Or some sex. Or some coke sex.
Now 'shroom sex...

'shroom sex is just scary.
But I'd always like some coke, notwithstanding the inevitable merely okay sex.

I had a boyfriend who used to say "my own self"...
as in, "I've got to get me some coke, my own self. And then my own self, I'll have to bang bn'b. It's inevitable."
Sadly, it is an affectation I managed to claim as my own, my own self.

You are the guy who is/was on Law & Order SVU. If that is not that guy. I think it is.
My image sometimes updates after an avatar has been changed a while.
Wanker looks like a picasso painting (or knockoff, or whatever). Hank just looks like his omnipresent face.
Patentpara and Tax Hottie are both Hello Kitty.

Except maybe RT, but only because it's very hard to think of someone as an orange Texas with a radiation symbol. And I still think of NFH as the Danica picture, and Pony as the Star Wars picture.

I did not need to know that.
ETA paisley is still a ladybug. I'm sure that will update in my head at some point.

Yes!!! Does the incorrect use of myself seem to have proliferated lately?
I blame reality TV.

I hate it on so many levels (much like "Man Getting Hit in Crotch by Football"). Not only do I hate it because it's wrong, I hate it because in most cases, the speaker thinks it is making him sound more intelligent, or learned (oh, Pepe.... it's learned).

It's the anti-death bias of this country. The judeochristians and capitalists of the country have turned you against suicide. They want you working and paying the Church it's vig for as long as possible.

Speaking of Good Books
(if we were). I also liked Getting Stoned With Savages quite a bit. It was a book about living the expat life in Fiji and the Vanuatus. I think the author was J. Maartin Troost or something like that. Explores cannibalism history a bit in the islands and shares anecdotes about what it is like to be a foreigner trying to fit in in those cultures.
Spoiler: He doesn't get eaten.
