It's more of the shock of my lack of understanding of your mind than anything else. I thought I had at least a very basic read on you. I don't even know you anymore.

Although I don't think liking The Pointer Sisters requires this must explanation, I will say that before and during the birth of hip hop (where I truly found my way), I listened to lots of different stuff. And Neutron Dance (thanks, I had forgotten about that one), Jump, He's So Shy, I'm So Excited and Slow Hand were fun songs.
My question to you is, what about these songs or that group offends you so?

I'm concerned that the real Juan Valdez (much like the real Juan here) was robbed. Do you think the corporations are sharing the profits fairly with Juan and the other working people? SS. did you leave a tip?

I like to start the day with a bowl of Wheaties, the Breakfast of Champions. But we had a localized cereal shortage in our house this morning, leading to the hasty manufacture of flapjacks.

I don't know, but he makes damn good coffee, calls the venti-sized cup a "large," and charges about 25 cents less than Starbucks for it. And he plays groovy, funky pan-Latin music that is all the rage with the hipster set. He could use some comfortable furniture to make it more conducive to hanging out, though.

Here's an anomaly-- Since I don't eat the carbs I can't run as fast as, say Penske, over 10K BUT I'm much thinner than he is- who would have thought?
|
Not really an anomaly. In the height of the Atkins craze, there were also sorts of thin folks wandering about who could not climb a set of stairs without panting.

I thought about this some more this weekend, but I have no idea why. If they significantly cut the train scene with the gorilla suit, your claim would be a lot stronger. Swedish meatballs/rucksack and beef jerky are classic, but the gorilla and Jim Belushi not so much.

Because she is prohibited from receiving personal packages at work. It is a policy that is quite strictly enforced.
They never leave the packages outdoors. Either they are in the office, or against my apt door at home. Or, sometimes, in my foyer, but not with the new mgmt people.
The ginger products I ordered this weekend are going to be shipped FedEx ground. I don't know how the other order I placed this weekend will be shipped.
I have never really had a problem with any shipper in particular. FedEx delivered the computer of a work friend who accidentally left it at this office when travelling -- she had it the next morning in time for our conference call. Which was why I shipped it, anyway.
Why are we talking about shippers? I just really wanted my new phone. It takes pictures!!

I love Real Genius. Maybe I will get a lanyard for my badge and wear it backwards.
(someone please insert picture of Val Kilmer's character wearing his keys or card or whatever backwards -- I can't find one, but I remember it, crystal clearly)

I had a late start, so no breakfast for me this morning. Usually it's Grape Nuts with some sort of berry.

Agreed on Jim Belushi, but at least, in my opinion, he didn't get in the way and drag the movie down. Besides, they had to get Al Franken and the other handler some screen time. Plus there are other decent parts to the train scene.
Billy Ray gives secret knock.
Louis responds with secret knock.
Louis: Who is it?
Billy Ray Valentine: Open the door, man!
