I wish I could believe you when you say this, but your past conduct makes me skeptical about the veracity of this statement.

This reminds me... Whats the name of that travel guide just re-released by the 19th century British travel writer who wrote horrible ethnic slurs and nasty comments about other countries, but had actually never left Britain? The book is supposed to be hysterical. The woman was some miserable rural wretch who wrote insane tirades against all sorts of people in a comically snide English tone. Anyone heard of this.

I have to agree with you on that. I don't get this Lady Di obsession. The guy realized he screwed up when he married that vapid debutante, married the women he really loved, and whole world demonizes him for it.

Every time I see a poll that shows Jackie O and Lady Di rated as the two most respect women in the world (by women) I want to vomit.

Are you implying Charles is somehow not vapid? The only difference between he and K-Fed is finishing school and a pair of Alfred E. Neuman ears.

Van Halen's Michael Anthony? Okay, but why?

Or are you thinking Anthony Michael Hall? Which might be more accurate.

Wait a minute. You just demonized him for being indiscreet with his affair with Camilla and for saying something totally tacky during a conversation he thought was private. And now you praise him in relation to Diana. This makes it sound like your morality is relative.

Plus, I think what Diana got was more sympathy and compassion than respect. If he hadn't wanted a "vapid debutante," he was more than old enough to know better, while she wasn't worldly enough to know how the royalty machine could chew her to pieces.
