One of the beauties of poetry is to help put your existance into words. I had never really recognized what 12+ beer do to your next day's bathroom experience, or more accurately, never realized the burning associated with the next day's BM. The day after I first read the poem, I realized another little thing I felt frequently, but had never acknowledged.

DALLAS - Of the four state high school health textbooks under consideration in Texas this summer, one says teenagers should “get plenty of rest” if they want to avoid sexually transmitted diseases. It also suggests students can help prevent pregnancies by respecting themselves. The book avoids any discussion of condoms.
Only one book under review by the Texas State Board of Education references condoms.
"Texas has the nation’s highest teen birth rate among girls age 15 to 17, and nearly half of all new sexually transmitted disease infections occur among people age 15 to 24."
This is all because vibrators are illegal, isn't it?
Who knew that preventing STDs was as simple as getting some rest? Is that really what they're teaching?

Ignorance of foreign language is beneath you d. Li Po is translated from the Tang dynesty Mandarin characters utilized by the learned classes. There is no equivalent for a "space" as between our words.
