Is there a name on the ballot that Californians would be happy to have as governor? In other words, G^3, you could have made your dis back in August once the nominating was closed. |

Still, when the wall is built, it would probably be a good idea for the U.S. to start pressing Israel to evacuate some of the outliers.

 | I think it's too close to call. I see the recall provision at about 49.999999 to 50.00001 at this point. The last-minute stuff was just too . . . last minute, and shocking . . . to make prediction possible. It's entirely possible that the stories are made-up garbage that will be debunked shortly after the election, which is a shame, but which is standard Gray Davis fare - but, if they turn out to be true, the guy's an ego-ridden sleazeball.

But, if it's Arnold, or Gray, or Cruz - then, yeah, I agree that the winner is someone of whom Cali can be deeply ashamed. Not one of them is really capable of being an effective governor of a state that size and that problematic. |

 | Yes, the calculus would be different if he were the boss as opposed to just a co-worker. Still, if they haven't sued him despite him being worth over 100 million, what makes you think they will sue him now that he is governor? Unless it is a purely political move. The plaintiff(s) will have to come up with a non-politically motivated reason for waiting so long, in order for it not to be a he-said/she said type thing.

Besides, why are you so against the Governator? If you go to enough of his rallies, I am sure that he will grope you sooner or later, baby. All good things come to those who wait...Now, c'mere and update my pocketpart.

 | If they don't, then their new Israel is going to encompass far too many Palestinians, and, if they are ever going to move to a true democracy, they will be endangering the idea of a Jewish state. If their borders are going to encompass the settlements, they are going to be about 52% arab. |

				The Recall

Not sure if anybody else had this experience this morning, but I went into the booth not knowing who I was going to vote for. Would it be the practical, though morally comprimised candidate, or would I vote my conscious for the guy who will likely not only not win, but also jeapordize the GOP from winning?
With my valuable tax dollars hanging in the balance, I proudly voted with my conscious.

 | Why? There are 15 women so far who are saying that he has a history of groping. He's admitted that he's been inappropriate. I think it's pretty cut and dry at this point.

My understanding is that women haven't come forward because the phrase "you'll never work in this town again" actually means something in that industry in LA. |

 | Are you suggesting that the suits against Clinton were politically motivated?

 | What I meant was, if they are going to establish clear national boundaries in a two-state situation, (which I think is going to be the ultimate result), and allow for complete one person-one vote democracy irregardless of "status", they cannot allow the non-Jewish citizenry to outnumber the Jewish citizenry. If it does, they either have to designate non-Jews with some lower, non-voting status, or just become another arab state with a significant Jewish population. |
