I don't think its an intentional strategy, I think men are generally just oblivious to how being approached by a stranger can be actively threatening to a woman.

A couple other times as well, in the neighborhood. Nothing like running into that odd person you want to avoid when you're making a "just before they close" dash to the TastiDLite and really don't want to be bothered. Hmmm. I think I remember his first name; I should Martindale him to see whether he is still or a lawyer or has gone on to bigger and better ventures.
You guys are so lucky that men try to talk to you. Most men on the street who admire my pulchritude confine themselves to ogling or yelling "hey sister, looking good!"

It can be so lonely, having bodacious ta-tas.

Add cyber-acquaintance to the list and you could cite me.

Go back and read TM's point about how it means we are just not that hot. If we were actually hot, men would be intimidated and avoid us.

gwnc, you could meet your (is there no qualifier anymore?) bf for lunch . . . .
Yes. Impressive creds, too, I suppose. Yes, I talked to him too long. I was naive.

I always wondered what it would be like to be so hot that random men can't just can't help themselves and must stop to make my acquaintance.

I think I speak for both of us when I say, "Thank you. Thank you FB Hot Chicks, for the little window into what it is like to be utterly irresistible."

Sounds like a party! Except for the eating the Replaced Dogs part.

At night, on the street, as she is clearly trying to escape from Pepe Le Peu? Yeah, you're probably right.

Well, except for yesterday.

I'm sorry. I know that was supposed to be "our little secret", but I couldn't let you leave such a misimpression with all these nice folks. It just wouldn't be right.
That's why I threw the "generally" in there. (wink, wink). And people wondered why I looked so hot and bothered when I did eventually get back to work, so "our little secret" is not so much of a secret.

I tried to ignore than and just consoled myself with being intimidating on the internet.

At my regular gin mill every third pint is free and, when MJ is working, you are treated to as many shots of Tullamore Dew as he drinks behind the bar. Which is a lot. I've been to bars where they have apparently never heard of a knock and they invariably suck for a whole host of reasons.

I have bought far more drinks for men than women. NTTAWWT. It was just my round.

Maybe you should have taken a longer lunch so you could be relaxed and limp for the rest of the day . . .
