No, you're getting blamed for bringing up the memory of my litttle girl crying. It's dulled my sense of humor. Not to worry, I'll be fine in a few minutes. I just need to go yell at an associate.

Cool. If I go there and read the comments, which poster names attributed to engorged pieces of Hillary's anatomy will be those of Penske?

Its funny you guys are talking about this because I have always wondered about this. Like why the US signing the WTO takes a majority of Congress and the Senate instead of two thirds of the Senate and no House of Representatives? Isn't joining the WTO a treaty in the Constitutional sense? I also found it weird that the constitution says that Congress has to vote for us to go to war, but a Treaty to end a war takes a two thirds vote of the Senate and disregard the House. A lot easier to get in a war than to get out. And since the Senate never ratified the Versailles treaty are we still at war with Germany, the Austro Hungarian Empire and the Ottoman Empire. At the end of WWII did the US Senate ratify the unconditional surrender of Germany and Japan, Were those treaties? And why did it take a 2/3 vote of the Senate to put the US into the League of Nations where congress just had to approve us entering the United Nations (and NAFTA, IMF, World Bank, WTO, etc).
The two best grades I got in Law School were in Con law and International law and I can't remember an answer to any of these questions. My guess is there is no answer to these questions, and it is also too bad you can’t become a partner at one of the top law firms and make this your specialty. I worked for two large international law firms overseas and not once did any of these questions come up.

It doesn't play that well in Riyadh though, which is actually an issue during the transition.

Its a Festivus Miracle
It looks like the Dems might screw up and nominate Obama. As charming as he is, he can't run away from his record in the Senate (and in Illinois). As soon as the independents in this nation find out where he stands on many issues the luster will wear off. The U.S. electorate will not elect a McGovern clone. And Independents love McCain.
Even with Bush's low approval rating, and the economy sliding the Dems may just screw this up and let a pro-war candidate win during an unpopular war.
And since McCain wants to stay in Iraq to get the job done, I am as happy as a clam. Nothing better than when your pessimistic projections turn out to be wrong.

But I think you could try to express how much you LOVE the opinion. I'd suggest pictures and/or video if words fail you. If you still have trouble, consider seeking the advice and assistance of friends in expressing your opinion about the opinion.

McCain makes it close, but in a battle between two Senators the one with the shorter legislative record wins. Because senators make laws, laws make government, and Americans hate hearing about government. With enough time and access to the right media outlets, I could shove Jimmy Stewart's voting record down his reedy fucking throat. (I hear he once voted against a bill that would have kept guns out of Columbine H.S. Imagine! Their blood is on his hands!)
ETA: not to mention you're the only Republican I've heard NOT begging for McCain v. Clinton, which means it sounds to me like you're pleading to be thrown in dat dere briar patch.

Well, if it helps, I'm actually giving serious consideration to opening an upscale sex shop in Houston because of this. Gotta wait and see if the state appeals, but here's hoping.

Yeah, seeing the video, it's definitely not the official campaign office*. His office is in a storefront in the thrid ward, not some random office building.
Given that there are meetups supporting Obama all over the place, it's not surprising that some wingnuts are on the case. I suspect that there's a Confederate flag or two hanging in the offices of supporters of Republican candidates as well.
*Which is good, because I was going to go over there at lunch and take it down myself. And it's raining, so that would have been a pain.

From Houston for Obama: - Greetings [RT]!
Thank you for your concerns with the recent flag appearance at a local grassroots office, which is not affiliated with all Houston for Obama grassroots groups.

I'll say this - they're smart.
The intial response was the first "its not our office" statement you see there.
However, they then added the second message substantive "distancing" themselves from the flag's message.
Very attentive people in that campaign.
