It is almost 90 and sunny here-- that's the problem. I should be out with the top down blowing by pigs and flashing the fuck you sign at them. Exactly. JJLC was feeling quite free to toss the darts at the pseudo-Christian rightist for even daring to suggest something that might smack of religious reflection. As I said earlier, the post is rife with it. The situation came to a head with the dancing comment - regardless of whether it came from a movie or not.

Oh for gods sake. I'm an atheist who was raised Baptist who is dating someone Jewish. Do I get to weigh in too?

The comment about dancing was funny. The hurling of the word "kike" was not.

I may not be able to explain the line between offensive and inoffensive, but I know it when I read it.
