I walk past a Mitchell Gold store 3x per week or more and I covet a lot of their living room furniture. I've never really looked that their beds, but they have pretty clean, classic lines.

Is something like this too modern? http://www.dune-ny.com/site2001/tear.../beds_skin.pdf

(I tend to throw modern stuff next to distressed mexican stuff next to refinished 1950s metal stuff next to mission era stuff, so there's really no such thing as "not going together" for me, unless, well, it just doesn't go together.)
I love modern.

To the contrary, that's a great bottom line assessment. You know, at the end of the day. When the chips are on the table. Net-net.

Thank you, but not cool. This is almost making me feel pressured to be nicer than I usually am. And I will not feel bad if you come back with another post about my flaws. Unfortunately, I promised to be honest.

1. Let's start with the good. Personality:

Patentpara speaks in full sentences that are easy to understand in person. I think she thinks she posts like she talks, even though she doesn't. She seems smart, happy with her job, husband, clothes, friends and life in general. She is not unpleasant to be around, although she's a little too perky for my tastes. Unlike on the board, she is not confrontational in the least and I think she would have zero problems irl with any of the female posters who she's had problems with on the board.

2. Face:

Patentpara is not ugly. That said, she cannot be described as pretty or cute. Mind you, these are my opinions so they are necessarily subjective.

3. Body:

Patenpara is overweight. She described herself to me as having a "medium frame." I would describe her as being chubby.

Her tits are not 38Es. No way, no how. They are Cs and I didn't want to see them unclothed.

Bottom line? When she is standing in line at Sbux and an investment banker offers her a straw, he is simply offering her a straw.

TM

Mitchell Gold makes a lot of items for PB, Crate & Barrel, and Restoration Hardware. I have a leather club chair from PB and a leather loveseat from Crate & Barrel, both purchased separately, that I realized were both Mitchell Gold after getting the latter home. The leather and the detailing are exactly the same, although the styles vary slightly.

Ok. I'm trying to get a baseline....

Any of these? (click on the all but Slab. I especially like Flower.)

2. I object to. I've never been told *ever* I wasn't at least min. pretty or cute. I appreciate you saying I'm not ugly but that was harsh.

3. I concede I'm so not a 2. However, I do point out that I run almost every day and am working on becoming less uh, chubby? as you put it. You make me sound like a whale, and I'm not.

and addendum, *3a* the 38 E is what the lady at Bergdorf measured me as and the bra I bought. Whether you wanted to see them naked really wasn't the issue at hand.
Yeh, uh... you're going to want to leave this thread alone.

Mitchell Gold is gold. Even better, when they say lifetime warranty, they mean lifetime, and for any reason. Essentially I recently had them replace a 10 year old couch and chair (retail $3000ish in 96). for about $75 in costs. INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Thurgreed could have at least felt her up before he critiqued her. He had the decency to do that with me....

I like Flower too. (Yes, and you too, PLF).
And Puzzle. I'm not sure I'd put either in my bedroom though. I mean, where would you attach the handcuffs?

First off, he posted something that should have been PMd to me. To publicly humiliate me was wrong.

Second, he was too harsh. I never said I was a model, and he makes me sound like a fucking delusional wack job that thinks she is getting all this attention and isn't. Part of why I do is that I am a nice person and approachable, not because I'm a smokin' hottie. That being said, I ain't ugly.

Lighten up. He'd say the same thing about me. Though he has seen my naked breasts.

ETA: Thurgreed, this is not an invitation for a critique.
