They make ice wine in Canada. Say, do you know anything about ice wine?

The Displaced Dog and The Puppy are supremely disappointed they weren't invited. They usually have cheesecake on their birthdays, but I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't be adverse to carob cake.
The Displaced Dog's 14th birthday will be next month. Ya'll are all invited.

The other thing is that the Oxo mango pitter thingy does, as Cooks Illustrated promised, work quite well. I need to get better at figuring out which way the pit is aligned, but other than a slightly cut-up top, it was perfect. I may be using it again tonight, if the other mango has ripened.
No one responded to my pleas for pie so I gave them up. For the moment. And had vodka and wine instead. Not mixed together.

Include a ruler in the picture and size it down -- it may make the ruler look like a toothpick, but we will get the idea.

quit using a normal lens. Get a zoom, or you can crop off the space around the penis should you insist on using the standard lens.
My god what a softball. It's like Taxwonk has your login.

Next weekend, I am brunching at Stubbs. That barbeque better kick ass. Although I confess it is the thought of fried green tomatoes that is making me drool.

I don't think fringey is talking about ordering pies in advance to be shipped. This is more like a booty call, but with fruit fillings. She needs local and she needs evening hours. Delivery would be nice.

I like to call it "room service," but otherwise, spot on.
You really ARE in love with me!
ETA I have not seen pies at my Trader Joe's. And I like the option of buying by the slice, which I think would be possible at Marie Callendar's. Or however that is spelled. But not at a grocery-type store.
Where oh where has Paisley gone???
