Paigow giveth with one post and taketh away with the next. Alas, it's tough to make money by scalping tickets for bands nobody's ever heard of. Once you overpay for a three bedroom house, making money becomes hip again, and one is forced to draw on secondary sources of income (like ticket brokering). That said, I'm still planning on using two of my White Stripes and Radiohead tickets for myself, and selling the rest. Now that you've forced me to reveal my dirty little secret, I doubt any CALIFORNIANS out here will help me out.

I can't believe I'm participating in this discussion, but here goes. Money shot is a "term of art" in the business. If you're in the crew, you can shoot film all day, but in the end, you can't go home until your "star" has given you the money shot. It's called the money shot because the flick won't sell unless/until you have one (notwithstanding porn-lite).

I had been under the impression (no doubt from this board or the prior one) that there is a genre based solely on lack of money shot. I think this is separate from porn lite -- that you can see everything, but there's just no pulling out at the end.

I think the money shot popularity is sponsored by the Catholic church to promote acceptable birth control methods.
