Don't let anyone else in Texas see this article.

Also, this guy clearly isn't creative at all.

But, seriously, is "Jenna Bush Sticks Out Tongue" really newsworthy? Really?

And if I cut out cnn and msnbc, what am I left with? Yes, I know. My only other source for news. The Daily Show. Fuck the rest.
At one point yesterday, Fox's website tried to creat Laci II. The headline was "Pregnant Woman Disappears in Utah." I thought the Onion had hacked the Fox site for a second. When I realized it was real, my only reaction was "So?" Apparently, that was the same reaction of most people, as the "story" was yanked an hour later. And somewhere, a Fox intern sent a memo saying "It appears interest in missing pregnant women isn't a popular as initially thought... Laci appears to be a one shot deal."

It goes without saying that I would lose interest in a dude/guy/fella/bloke who described himself as a male rather than a man.

I would also lose interest in someone who felt the need to point out his gender in a context where it was already quite obvious.

ETA and I hate to say this, but I kind of agree with Sebby. However, if he accepts being replaced by a vibrator by a woman who is cruel enough to tell him so, and all he can do in response is write to Prudie, he does not deserve to get laid.

I'm afraid that you can, Bob.* What do you think that the motorcycle was a substitution for? Vroom vroom.

Leave us with a few illusions, please.
Christ, is the guy missing a tongue and digits? The fat man in the canoe is not exclusively receptive to hardware.

But it is true that masturbation is can often be a better orgasm, or, more appropriately, an easier orgasm. Most guys can get off pretty well in the time it takes to fix a martini. If you've had a long day and you just want to sleep, the last thing you feel like doing is heating up the chick and then doing gymnastics for 20 minutes so she can have three orgasms while you blow out your bad shoulder getting one.

Don't get me wrong... sex is still the best, but only if you've got the time and energy.

Nope. That's what the pool boy is for. He is also a very naughty school boy who's been throwing snowballs on the plyyground at recess, even though that's strictly forbidden.

I get all my news from the Daily. It's all the news that you need.

What does your personal (manly*) orgasm have to do with the issue at hand?

Fella? Been hanging out a little too much with the 50s show tunes crowd, Doll?

As for who's hot and who's not in D.C., who cares? The entire town is populated with the "winners" of Patch popularity contests, and look where that gets us.
Speaking of recovering alcoholics, I recently finished reading "Dry" by Augusten Burroughs, and it's one of the best books I've read in a long time. It's hilarious and (this sounds so cliché) profound. I found it very moving. The story (really, the setting, I suppose) is about his struggle with alcohol addiction and his recovery, but at its core, it's really a love story that's evocative, tender, and ultimately, heartrending.

It really affected me. I think probably this book (or at least the author) has been mentioned here before (his "Running with Scissors" was amazing -- but in a different way), so I'm not saying I invented this, but, I invented this.

How Freudian. I've outed my furniture fetish.

There's a reason the third drawer in the desk sticks.

I have no problem with you jerking off to go to sleep. It just doesn't really relate to whether I prefer my vibrator to you. Well, at least I don't think it relates.

Read "Drinking, A Love Story"*

* A sad aside is that the writer, a woman who really struggled for 20 years with booze, beat her addioction and started a great literary career, only to succumb to another vice - smoking.
