It's a wonder that the soundstage didn't collapse from the weight.
Her attack on the Admin -- based on actual facts about actual events -- is well done.
As for her other screed..... well, the fact that conservatives on this board read that sort of shit explains a lot. One example:
- Rabid liberal elitists expect and demand that "women of color" in public and political life adopt their left-wing political orthodoxy. When we don't accept such tripe, their racist and sexist diatribes against us are unmatched.
Cue Bilmore talking about how Repubs are uniformly civil in debate.

Not to defend Armstrong at all, but I can't understand why the Administration is getting a free pass on using taxpayer funds to bribe journalists to spread a partisan message. It's just mind-boggling. People should be losing their jobs, or going to jail, or something.

Ah . . . the PB equivalent of that old vaudeville routine:

Not to defend the administration in any way, but the answer is probably that this happens all the time in DC, under both parties.

I vaguely remember hearing reports that this shit is indeed illegal, but that the law really has no impact. Sure, you can't do it, but if the Gov't does, so what?
I understand and sympathize with your rant, but remember that this is Bush's America, where the news media screws up and people get fired, and when the government screws up, people get medals.
eta: Hey, let's be careful, now. Michelle is club's secondary pinup girl.

"Probably" in the sense that you are imagining that it might be true, and hoping that Dems have done this too? Cite, please.

To be honest, I did.
But c'mon - that's the best conservative columnists can do? She spends most of the column whining about how she gets nasty emails (which are no worse than what she dishes), then ends it by saying that Punditgate makes her job harder. Boo hoo.
Actually, Dan Flynn does a much better job.
So, I see your point.

I have read in several places that this was done in the Clinton and other administrations and, unfortunately, appears to be common practice.

There are many others, she just was the first to come to mind.
In general, I think the right of center bloggers (or at least those that I read) are pretty fair. I am curious to if the left of center bloggers will be once a DEM is in the WH.
