Okay, so I just finished watching The League of Fabulous Gentlemen, a.k.a. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

I've gotta say Carson ain't all that. He's funny as shit in a snarky stereotypic way, but his fashion sense could be met or exceeded by any of the others. In other words, if all five of them show up at my door, he's the one I want to dish with most but want to dress like least. And Carson's in need of the grooming makeover --- he looks like the love child of Rod Stewart and Dudley Moore.

Wonking hard here, I know, but it was a long weekend getaway. Anyway, I think this guy is the love child of Slave and Cheval. He has Slave's need to be loved by the masses and tendencey to feel redeemed by his self perception of being of the right people (ie that whole clique thing). He also seems to be in the same IQ zip code as Slave. He has Cheval's condescending pomposity. Maybe an ascot would take care of the one button undone issue?

I found this book at the gym on Friday and read it over the weekend. I now realize that one of my friends was "dating me" last summer. I was the obvious femme to her butch. From her perspective, I am also TMO, I would imagine. Now I feel bad.

oh good, i think now is a good time to start talking about urban planning and mass transit. since you are going to start putting people on the ignore list, then people like me who are interested in this subject can finally talk about it without you complaining about how it is boring because it doesn't involve "reality" tv, burritos, or you.

for anyone who ever finds themselves planning an urban mass transit system, this is definitely an example of what not to do.

If you had to read a book to determine that your friend was dating you, the problem is with her lack of a clearly understandable signal, not you. So try not to feel bad as it's not your fault.

Oh, and I assume I too am on Paig's "ignore" list when she's not making exceptions to pointlessly insult me. But I'm quite pleased about that.
