I don't claim to have any unique equipment or technique, but waaay back in the day I found a position and motion that seems to work good orgasms on chicks. I did read that. She died only a year or two ago, if I remember correctly. I dawned on me that her title would have been more appropriate for A.B.'s book -- as the love story I mentioned was between two people, not the drinker and his drink.

I can't remember the author[ess] of Drinking: A Love Story (Katherine something?), but that book was really much more focused on her recovery from the addiction, without the "side story". It was good in its own way, just different.

I agree that Sedaris and Burroughs have a similar writing style. Each has the ability to make you laugh until your stomach hurts, and then move you to tears, within the space of a page or two.

The short story by Sedaris called "Six to Eight Black Men" doesn't have any moments of pathos that I've been trying (most pathetically ) to describe, but is perhaps the funniest thing I've read in years, if not ever. He is so brilliant.
