This is billable, right?

SF board? If I am calling for government action doesn't that make this a political issue?

Any information supplied about the Original Whiff must be set to the tune of Original Sin by INXS. I'm sure you already figured that out, but just in case. Better safe than sorry. Not so weird that.

I'm not up on International Law, but I believe he could conceivably be accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity. I'm not advocating this, of course, because I am a Democrat and we still put our country and its offices ahead of partisan politics.

Used in this context it should be "Hollyweird". It also adds a punch to throw a cheapshot about Babs Streisand, preferably something about her defectation to France.

Truer words were never spoken. Although I wouldn't just limit it to state developers.

I'm not sure that politicizing the issue is your best method of attack. I think you'll have more luck if you have Spanky supporters from both sides of the aisle working on a resolution of this shocking situation. Plus, at least 1/4 of the regular posters on the SF board either live in San Francisco (the geographic region requiring investigation) or know a poster who does. Target market.

2) If there is no difference between lying and lying under oath then does that mean we should repeal the perjury law, or prosecute people every time they lie?
1. He lied to Congress. He acted in furtherance of a conspiracy to lie to Congress. He aided and abetted others in lying to Congress.

2. The President engaging in an organized campaign of lies to deceive Congress (even if they were willing dupes) is not you or I lying about some minor thing.

I figure this situation is pretty much like the AIDS virus in 1984. The problem is evident but we haven't identified the cause. Maybe we need to set something up like the NIH to figure out what the hell is going on before we attack it. And maybe like AIDS, this is a CIA plot to drive us all insane.

Is lying to Congress a crime? I know that at a congressional hearing you are put under oath, but in general, is lying to congress a crime? I mean if a Congressman stands up in Congress and says something, if he lies, is he committing perjury?

Question for coverage attorneys

Who the fuck would cover a Catholic arch-diocese for sex-abuse related claims to the tune of $80M?
