So
So I used to hook up with the girl I worked with. Things ended up badly and were very awkward for a while after. About a year later, we became friends again. Actually, we became friends for the first time, since we were never really friends to begin with, (IYNWIM) mostly because the whole sex question had already been resolved. We've now been friends for about a year and we no longer work together.
So the question is this: Is hooking up again now completely out of the question?

Sure, why not? There's no objective reason why you couldn't, but more a question of whether you both want to.
