Just the opposite. If Marilyn's good enough for JFK, she's good enough for me...

Read his paper and explain it to the rest of us (seriously, I can't understand a word of it) before you judge based on an article in the Atlantic Monthly.

As for my poor brain, I will have to content myself with understanding only that Charlemagne was approximately 40 generations back from the present day, and each person has 2 parents, 2^2 = 4 grandparents, 2^3 = 8 great-grandparents, etc. and 2^40, or approximately 1,000,000,000,000, 40th-generation ancestors, which means half a trillion male ancestors. Since the entire male population of Europe at the time of Charlemagne was only about 15 million, this puts the chances that each person with European ancestry is not descended from Charlemagne at once chance in 10^15,000. Even accounting for non-European branches and low intermarriage rates between social classes, the probability approaches zero because there are so many freakin' ancestors 40 generations back.

Under the current working draft of the contest rules for the Sebastian Dangerfield Pepsi Challenge 2003, you might have to.

Still totally inappropriate, everyone will be relieved to hear, but cool-looking, nevertheless. I am neither more nor less scandalized by beach-wear on the street than I am by athletic-wear.
I didn't say I wore them to work. I wear them to pool club. With my kilt! Sheesh.

Which means that they will be coming into fashion here sometime around mid-2005.

I'm glad to see someone else is on board with this project.

Dangerfield is going to have to put his moneyshot where the other guy's mouth is. Or at least I'm betting that's what will happen. NTTAWWT.

Wasn't that the whole point?
Are we doing a fundraiser for this effort? Have we selected participants? Or will they be anonymous street people?

I made the OM watch QE this weekend -- the cute one with Butch the artist.

I tried to explain the whole metrosexual thing as we watched all the hair products. He said, yeah, okay, straight guys into fashion grooming, etc., but they sleep with dudes. I said, no they sleep with women. He said, yeah, but clearly they also sleep with dudes.

The OM who does his own pedicures, meticulously applies moisturizer, and buys biore pore strips for himself just cannot wrap his mind around the metrosexual concept. I cannot imagine trying to explain the FB pepsi challenge.

Explain this, then. You'll particularly like the quote at the end about theology.

I vote we go to the bunnyranch or some such place and get two of their pseudo-porn star hookers, we fly Thurgreed's mama in as the third woman, and I use that term loosely-out of deference to her looseness, and for the guy we get a male transvestite street hooker from West Hollywood.

Who's with me?

The problem is he has mistranslated the biblical text, which actually reads תلض عר۶๓ ๖ว ป₪ пф בإب كقх ґﻍﻆ ،غ תع in the original aramaic.

Now do you understand?

I think we need a larger sample size of males, if we are going to have three different women. Though, I guess the hookers are probably actually lesbians (so may not give the best blow jobs, particularly from the bunnyranch (isn't that the one that was in trailer homes? maybe I misremember)) so using the skanky street hooker may be even. Surely we can find some guy who's looking for a toaster.
