SPOILER STUFF
Right now, the four people left are Shandi, Mercedes, Yoanna and April. Nobody appears to be a frontrunner, from what I can see. The judges keep saying that April is too technical and has no personality, Yoanna has a gorgeous face but there's something wrong with her body, Mercedes is too "commercial" and not high fashion. Shandi is actually probably doing the best right now, but in this week's episode she apparently gets drunk and hooks up with an Italian boy (all the models are in Milan right now) and then, stupidly, calls her boyfriend to confess that she cheated on him.
Camille got voted off for being an obnoxious diva bitch. Sara got voted off, but I still haven't figured out why. I honestly have no idea who is going to win, but I'm pretty sure it's not Mercedes.
Oh, the best thing about the last episode was that Yoanna and Camille decided to pretend to be friends and Yoanna kept calling the pair of them "Ebony and Ivory". Camille won the "Go-See" competition and actually picked Yoanna to share the prize. But then at dinner one night, Yoanna went to the bathroom and Camille implied to Tyra that Yoanna had an eating disorder. Tyra actually got pissed at the "sabotage" and Camille got voted out that episode. Also, when someone at a "Go See" snottily asked Camille if she always walked that way ("that way" meaning like a stork, I guess), Camille responded "Yes, that's my signature walk and it's what's going to make me a millionaire."
I love this freaking show. Best reality show on tv.

She said that she appreciated the opportunity, she learned a lot and she was happy to return to sales which is where she felt she belonged now that she had experienced this.

I love this show too. I actually found the majority of the chicks homely. I rarely find supermodel types attractive. Shandi cracks me up but grosses me out -- not hot. I saw a part of an episode -- I think it was recent -- in which Shandi was dancing and Tyra was saying how sexy it was? Gross. Not hot.

And with that, I will never again be able to take a str8 music post seriously. Sting fan club? For real?

Don't mock. Have you listened to some of his later stuff? It's some of the hottest music on the new Pier 1 compilation.

Now, now, now... There's nothing wrong with Sting.
(Other than the last two decades when he's not playing with Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, that is.)

And it passed the FB right by that Pier 1 has fired spokesperson Kirstie Alley and replaced her with Queer Guy Thom. All the usual news sites (cnn, etc.) mentioned in their stories something about the fact that Thom is (gasp!) gay. One story even mentioned that maybe Pier 1 is (gasp!) not going for the straight guy demographics when it picks a spokesperson. Cause so many straight guys shop there. Right.

I guess "high fashion" equals "looks crappy in lingerie or a bathing suit." The only girl I thought was breathtakingly beautiful, face and body, was Sara. Now that she's gone, I really don't care who wins, I just hope there's lots of crying.
UPN has apparently bought two more seasons so we should be enjoying lots more catfights and underwater photo shoots in the months to come.

Those rings are for napkins? No wonder it felt so loose.

I don't know how this one passed me by. I must have been spending too much time scrutinizing Bed, Bath & Beyond's circular in the Sunday paper. Good catch.
