Maybe it was a decent call, but since CBS showed it only once and did not dwell on its significance, I don't know.

I think that's one of those automatic calls the refs are saddled with. If you hit the quarterback in the head/face with your arms, it's 15 yards, automatically. I think the refs should be given some discretion on those (including the fucking tuck rule that got those legendary Patriots past the Raiders, I believe for their first championship),* but that's just me.
