Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I hate, hate hate this one. Hero faces down villain. Hero looks defeated. Villain, rather than doing the sensible thing and dispatching of the hero immediately, goes into a long soliloquy about how the hero could have succeeded if [fill in the blank], but instead did [fill in the blank] and now, hero is screwed, and there's nothing he can do about it now HA HA HA HA H- *BLAM*
With the final blow struck by hero's faithful sidekick, hiding somewhere behind where villain stood.
