I know that most people are "meaties" and I wouldn't think to impose my fairly strict "veggie" beliefs on them so I always offer a wide array of food.

I also offer many types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I wouldn't presume that everyone wants to drink Bud -- although for the life of me I cannot understand why.

If it was just all about what I like to eat and drink why bother to invite other people at all? I would be a heck of a lot easier to forego the party and just sit on the couch eating caulflower and sucking down Budweisers. Cheaper too.

Really? You cook steaks when you invite friends over for dinner?
That's genuinely surprising. And certainly not consistent with my experience of having been a veggie, or of having lots of veggie friends.
