Now that is an ugly, ugly thing to say about a woman. Besides, it's a well-known fact that Fleetwood Mac had a roadie whose full-time job was to blow the coke di-rectly into Stevie's rectum in order to save that precious nose, so vital to the nasal quality of her singing voice. So hush that fuss, and judge not lest ye be judged.

Damn. FSW better start carrying Primera Liga games. I'll miss him on Celtic Vision (even though the video quality was horrible).
I'm looking forward to the the Denmark-Sweden game this afternoon. There have already been hints of a possible fix*. Both teams have issued denials. Oh, the hullabaloo that will ensue if they tie 2-2.
*For those not following Euro 2004, if the Swedes and Danes tie at 2-2, both teams move on to the next round.

The Celery Stalks at Midnight
A friend was relating an amusing anecdote the other night, which started with "Vanessa and I were driving down a side street in Montrose, because Vanessa was stalking David, when...."
Everyone nodded knowingly.
So here's the stalking poll: To what extent have you stalked an ex and/or someone you're interested in?
Me: When I was in high-school, I'd drive by Jason's house every single day on my way home, just to see if he was there. It was three turns out of my way, but I made some random excuse to passengers about a short cut whenever I was anywhere in his neighborhood. I don't know what I would have done if I ran into him.
I'm currently cyberstalking someone I hooked up with on Memorial Day weekend and then again on Thursday night. I just found his friendster, and am trying to figure out where he might be this weekend so I can accidently run into him again.

If you hooked up with him, why don't you just call him? Did you not do the sex good to him?
I have never stalked anyone. Harrassed? Yes. Stalked? No.

That would assume that I had his number.

Not the criminal definition. I was generally thinking of trying to find out about or get closer someone without their knowing about it in a sort of sneaky way.

For frames on the cheap, I like plastic Oliver Peoples type frames in a tortoise shell color. I priced his at 250 or so. Is it possible to go cheaper than that? And where can you get high index lenses cheaper....any suggestions?

There's some places called Wise Eyes that are a bit discounted. I don't know if they are just in the suburbs. Also, there used to be some discount place that advertised in the Village Voice, a while back.

Where did the deposition take place? Your place? Never take them back to your place. Always go to theirs. Or the back seat of a taxi.

The old place has finally reached its highest and best use:
As a repository for fat people suck threads.
Not that I go there anymore or anything.

I've never stalked anyone, but then again I think it'd be hard to find any guy who would admit that they've stalked. Have I said, "Let's go this party/bar because the chick I like will be there"? Sure. But that's not stalking, that's just being smart.
Setting aside the fact that a guy who admits that they've stalked is creepy, when approaching women, men are supposd to act "like men". We're supposed to walk right up to the woman, see if she's interested, and then act accordingly depending on her level of interest. We're not supposed to use stealth or trickery to woo women. We're supposed to be direct.
But it's a bit different for women. Although it is 2004, there are still many women who expect to be the approachee as opposed to the approacher. A woman who drives by a potential mate's house is simply positioning herself to be approached. A guy who does it is a creepy stalker.
As an aside, I remember from my single days that when interacting with groups of women out at the bars there was always one woman who was grumpy because she was expecting some guy to be at Bar1, and he was not there. Inevitalby she would pout and badger her friends into leaving and going to Bar2, in hopes of running into the guy. I hated when chicks did this. This would never work for a guy.

This was very confusing to me until I realized you aren't Sparklehorse.
Um, Sparklehorse is a chick, right? Where is she? Where is paigow? Where is DS? What the hell is going on?

There is a particular ex with whom I'd naïvely hoped to remain friends. She now lives in the Patch and I haven't seen her in years. I Google her now and then to see what she's up to, but that's all --- it would be a little odd if I drove 2,500 miles to circle her block. Part of me is just a little pissed that years after our breakup, I sent her a wedding present as a peace offering, and she never sent me a thank-you note. Another part of me thinks it's depressing that a basically likeable person who once knew so much about me wants nothing to do with me. Ah, well. I instigated that breakup so ham-handedly that she was entitled to burn all my photographs.
I've never stalked someone I'm interested in. I'm a strict Damone Method man.
