Chapter 17, in which Not Bob engages in post-deposition Taxwonking

I love you too, Thurgreed.
And, if anyone cares, it was a series of depositions. Not a series of "depositions." Free advice for the younger litigators in the crowd? Do not be rude to the court reporter who shows up instead of "Kandee" on the second day. It is not her fault that Kandee had a previously scheduled hearing to cover that day. Maybe you should blame Kandee. Or your secretary, who probably hates you, too.
The over/under on how many "uhs" and "ums" show up in the transcript is currently 675. And no one would take the "she'll correct his grammar" bet; even at 100 to 1. Loser.

Yes, between commando and my boyish good looks (and notwithstanding my recently chronicled sexual inadequacies) I am the specialest. Or at least tied with Sebby for the title.

of a 1 partner firm. he got crapped out because his reviews all said everyone hated him and so he couldn't work on group projects, and all younger lawyers refused to work with him. He was told he had to become nicer. He actually called me to ask how he could get people to like him (I did not bring up the urinal), but he couldn't change. Career path change, consider other opportunities. In the end, justice.

That rat bastard! Who is he 'kind of' sucking? I'll kick their ass.
Unfortunately, I'm too busy training for the Olympics to put out for him.

Sometimes I really feel homicidal. This man's release from prison inspires such thoughts. Were I to have the opportunity, I would push him in front of a train, or off a tall building.

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

pee
uric acid is also very good for your skin. Most (probably all) commercial products like Eucerin use a synthetic variety (I think), but a massage therapist told me that her grandmother bathes her feet in her diluted urine because it softens the skin. Also, I have a home-spa book that recommends that if it doesn't gross you out too much.
I have not done the pee foot-bath, but I have to admit that my own pee does not really gross me out at all.

Bang. You nailed it. I was trying to think of the right way to describe Kobe's look and now I know that it's Ford-Taurus-driving, guidance counselor. You're the best, SD! Lay off that coffee! I'm on my 3rd cup! LOL!

OMG. Could you imagine? "X is not billing enough. Increase his caffeine dosage by 30 cc's..."
Or the press release. "Starbucks in a new partnership with national law firms has implemented its first-ever I.V. direct dosage caffeine adminstrator. This patented device increases employee efficiency by 200% and Starbucks is proud to be on the cutting edge of legal innovation..."
