I didn't invent this, but it happened 15 years ago, when she actually turned 18. She's the Danny Almonte of Hollywood.

Or, if you really want to go by her ID, July 2. Indepedence day indeed.

Did Anyone See An Article on Lunchboxes

I recently saw an article in the wash post, that wasn't it. A friend of my boyfriend said he saw an article on lunchbox collecting in a recent magazine and it mentioned something specific about the Sigmund the Sea Monster Lunchbox. The dude couldn't remember the magazine. Did anyone else see this article?

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

I don't think there's really a "best swing in hockey" - it's just not the same. Roenick is the best shooter.
This is absolutely nutty.

Roenick has soft hands and a tremendous wrist shot, but his game is based on placement, grit and determination.

For starters, I'd go with Bure, Fedorov or Jagr. Kovalchuk is right there, too.

If Kovalev ever got his shit together he'd be up there too.

No, but I did happen to come across this exhibit at the Museum of our National Heritage:
lunch boxes

I did not go in, however, as my lunch was wrapped nicely in a paper bag.

Which one of you in your relationship is obsessed with collecting lunch boxes again?

Anyhoo, given that its a slo-Monday, but we have the benefit of historical vestiges of the golden age of the boards, are there any specific topics that we can discuss?
I want to buy a couple of suits, and I was toying with the idea -- shocking, I know -- of going with something other than Joseph Abboud. Say I want to spend $500-$600 for something conservative (irony acknowledged) yet stylish, and sufficiently well made to withstand the rigors of the triplet toddlers I hope never to have, fertile as I may be. Suggestions?

No, you didn't. At least not according to google. In the process I discovered this mildly amusing article on the subject:

It may have been Collecting Magazine. I remember that in the past that mag has had some articles on lunchbox collecting. I can't believe that with all the crap that my mom has up in her attic that she tossed all of my old lunchboxes. Johnny Qwest, the Land of the Lost, Sid Kroft's Supershow, Bugaloos, Hong-Kong Phoooey. Damn.

As long as you don't think I'm a serial stalker. Or a serial stalker sockster.

disagree. Duff's face is hot? Seems a bit too taylor dayne to me. Not saying she's awful, but how can you dismiss Lindsay on the basis of her breasts?
