The minute any douchebag starts talking "synergies" and "allainces" I usually get that "Fuck, this guy's got no fucking money... next thing he'll do is offer me is equity for services" sinking feeling. I haven't been wrong yet - lingo and cash tend to be mutually exclusive since April of 2000...
...but then again, cash and this city have been mutually exclusive since 1945...

SOme first year said something awas "baked in" (hi gwnc) and I said "how?" and he started explaining, and I meant, "no, how is it baked in? is it one of the ingredients?" The kid can still be saved bc its early, right?

Well, you could work a dope joke out of it and freak the kid out. "Baked??? What do you mean 'baked'? Are you into the marijuana?" If the kid's the standard issue douchebag, he might blow a gasket, or you'll get a dealer. Its a win win whichever way it goes.
He's salvageable, but you've got better shit to do. Leave him to Darwin.

Red state baby-cutting
I've got another question about this. Can a reasonably-proficient but untrained person just perform a ceaserian section, even if it results in the mother dying, and pull the baby out? I don't think that's the kind of thing I would try. When they were saying that they thought the baby could have survived, I thought for sure they would find it dead. But it turns out that the baby is just like a regular newborn? What the fuck? If you're not worried about the health of the mother, is a ceaserian section is simple as cutting open a watermelon without cutting too deep? This whole story is fucking bizarre. No wonder they all voted for Bush.

I disagree with your earlier posts. This sort of person seems to thrive in corporate culture, a desirable characteristic from an evolutionary standpoint. If these types ever learned how to fuck, they'd take over the planet.

I wonder how much ass one can get at Holy Cross... There ain't much to do up there and the place is packed with naughty little Catholic daddy's girls. So many tauntingly tight, but not too short wool skirts and tight sweaters... Of course, that was 1989, so for all I know, the place is now an X playground or full of crunchy chicks...
I often wonder what would have become of me had I succumbed to the parental desire to send me to Woostah. I guess it proves at a minimum my folks really did hate me.

Tease. No REIs near us at all. Too late for Xmas, but I'll get them by mail order in January for my Sister's Daddy's** Birthday. For now I'm hitting the local sports store asking for "Wicker" shirts because I am too lazy to go back and find the proper word used yesterday plus I was confused because I kept thinking Wicca. As in that certain neo-Paigon religion. (Just go with it.)

These are the kinds of questions you should be directing to your mentor.

Just tell them it's a late Solstice present and glare if they look confused.

I asked my OBGyn sister about this and she confirmed that performing a C-section is so easy that they don't even teach them how to do it. They usually use grapefruit spoons to start out.

It was retribution for having to read "whiff" for the millionth time.

I meet him from time to time. I always comment negatively about him to superiors when the chance arises. I personally find lingo people to be the most uncreative flakes in any office. Its a cheap leapfrogging technique - a softball "barrier to entry". Like lawyers who use "heretofore" and Latin all over their briefs. Nothing says Screaming King Jackass like a string of Latin terms in your papers.
