They might (but I would say they're wrong); furthermore, in this case, it is not optional, as it would redress inherent ambiguity. Is it Half of a Blood-Prince (like a vampire or something) or a Prince of Half-Blood (I figure it's this -- as that's a major theme in the stories -- but there's a lot of speculation about Snape's being a vampire -- so who knows)?
