You know, I don't read Tom Wolfe for the sex parts (unlike, say, the way I read certain books by Anne Rice), but I don't remember anything that bad in "A Man in Full" or "Bonfire of the Vanities." Maybe I just blotted it out.

The idea of that Monty Burns-like insect writing about sex disturbs me. He needs to bag that suit. That high collar makes him look like one of those African chicks who wear neck lengthening rings. You could behead him with a paring knife.
