Any suggestions? Fiction or non-fiction is fine. No Ayn Rand or books by people who yell on TV for a living.
Thanks!

I just finished a book called The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell, that I thought was really good. It's sort of an odd science fiction novel written by a former paleo-anthropologist about Jesuits in space, which in a lot of ways is a book about maintaining a relationship with God when everything goes to hell.
I really liked it a lot, and I just ordered the follow up.

You're leaving your wife at home? Hm.
And I just found out today that the name of this thread is wrong. Wrong. It should be Happy Birthday Sean Preston Spears Federline and other peoples.
Oh, and Donald Trump is having another kid. With lots of hair.

J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets
As if I couldn't hate the Jets anymore...
Vinny Testaverde, 42, who spent some of his best NFL seasons with the New York Jets, is set to rejoin the team in place of Pennington.

Mr Man and I will be at the Camp Freddy at Key Club show. Too many good shows that night, I guess.

No canna do. Will be in Orange County that day, and given traffic patterns expect to make it back to Los Angeles proper sometime around midnight.
(That'll probably just be time for their second set, I know, but still.)
Appreciate the thought, though.

CF will take priority in this one. Navarro was spouting off about purported guests this morning on the radio, and it sounds like a Mr Man iPod list (Brandon Boyd, AJ from Lit, Jerry Cantrell, Vivian Campbell, etc.). We'll see who really shows, but reserving the entire upstairs restaurant at Key Club for the band is a promising sign. Plus stars seem to be hip to the benefit show photo-ops (or defamer cites).

Just the other day I was wondering how a guy with a two-month old baby finds the time to keep tabs on several wagers on different games, in different sports.
I see now how things work in the str8 household. FWIW, I think slave's term for this is "paper abortion".

Better yet, buy Halo and install it on your laptop.

Breakfast pastry update
Upside: chocolate muffins down in cafeteria have a cupcake-like texture (or cake-donut texture).
Downside: they are so sweet/large that even I feel sick after eating one. And I cut the sweetness with coffee. Ugh.
