Amusing Discussion
Here's a somewhat amusing discussion I just had with my wife.
[after talking about going to lunch together]
Str8: Do you know anyone who wants to go see Sting in Boston?
Mrs. Str8: Why don't you ask [my ex-girlfriend-turned-Harvard-Prof.] if she wants them? Oh wait, you already did, and she didn't get back to you. Hmmm.
Str8: Yeah, if she was a little nicer to me, I'd have sent them to her for free.
Mrs. Str8: Well she wasn't. Hmmm.
So, any takers? Big discounts on face value.

Like so many of my dates, we started with a Monty Python reference and ended up on your mother.

The people hiring you will be arrogant pricks who probably won't look at your samples- if they do they will only see stuff they find negative. Someone said articles- list them but only provide if asked.
You will need to sell yourself by gab to get the job. The paper only distracts, or screws you.

I wouldnt read the writing sample and I am not an arrogant prick.

Yes. The people at the job I had before my current job called my references. Make sure you put down your best law school buddies who will lie their asses off for you because you have tons of good blackmail material.

Among my college friends, "Burma" was our substitute for "Don't Go There." For, as Detective Goren might say, "the obvious reasons."
Nota bene that graduating in 1995, "Don't Go There" would have been acceptable. However we frisbee-chucking-hipsters were too cool for school, even then.

We do.
And, BTW, thanks for answering the call for me. I knew that when they would ask you about me being the "Lead Relationship Attorney for the General Motors account," you'd guess where I was going with that.

There was one post that singled you out with an identity that will forever preempt you from being thought of as a hipster or cool in my book. That was the post where you admitted to be a card carrying member of the Sting fan club.
Many other posts have had similar impression or stain making effects on posters that they cannot shake (while at the same time, other posters cant get a board persona or personalty charactertistic for their life - see for example, Not From Here). As an example, MR will also be your rimjob man. What are some of the great posts that have forever gave a poster em's persona? Or alternatively, is there a single post that forever immortalizes a poster whether em likes it or not? Like the "Its a foul truth I utter" by Sebby? ANyone?
