my position has been agreed with, not that that has anythign to do with anything. I was just trying to give you sage job advice. Dont look like a job hopper. You are warned.
And if you dont agree with me on the MBA thing, might I suggest you call up the University of CHicago business school , or HBS, or SBS and see what the requirements for getting in are, two years of business experience, and I dont mean delivering newspapers for daddy, Skippy.

1. You would be a good litigator. You stay on point. I've explained that I'm not debating with you, and you've told me how dumb I am for arguing past you. You're nearly as self absorbed as me.
2. Sages never get anywhere. They know too many down sides to everything. I'm sympathetic to your point - an MBA is not worth a ton these days - but fuck it, maybe Coltrane has a sterling personality. Fuck! Wouldn't that be nuts? Getting ahead on personal skills? That NEVER happens, or at least lawyers don't like to admit it does (I won't beat that dead horse again).
3. This SHIT, these stupid fucking worthless posts... this garbage that people write back and forth... this isn't an argument. This is nonsense. You've as much indication of the professional skill of anyone from what he writes on these boards as you would from watching him play badminton.
4. I'm not getting hyperbolic here. I'm just thinking out loud "Fuck, this Coltrane cat seems to want to move to something better and get out. The last thing anyone should do is pull a "lawyer" on him and warn him about all the 1000s of down sides to whatever risk he takes."
5. Coltrane - stop listening to lawyers. Get your advise from someone smart.

It IS a stupid argument, but I couldn't find that requirement listed here: http://gsb.uchicago.edu/dynamic.asp?nNodeID=51
I didn't look that hard though.

224 remain, and each will at least get their $10k entry fee back. I've been following the running commentary at this site (gaming site)

This is a stupid argument, but I'm bored. Sorry, Coltrane, 100% of the 03 entering class had full-time work experience.
http://gsb.uchicago.edu/dynamic.asp?nNodeID=847
While not a technical requirement, work experience is obviously preferred.

Thank you for picking up the stupid argument slack since I cant do it right now. What troubles me is that Coltrane's 2 friends from the UC (I assume Chicago and not Colo or CAlif) have no work experience yet a full one hundred percent of the UC class has the work expereience. Who is lyinghere? Coltrane or UC?
ETA- whoops, that was the 03 entering class. presumably coltranes friends are not 03 since I think they graduated. May be it was only ninety eight percent when they were there and they got around the "tradition" by doing good deeds for Lamba Lamda

Please make it stop
Please stop the bickering. There are more important things to discuss - like who's voting for Fantasia tonight? Where's barely when I need her to put the voodoo on Diana-I-scream-when-I-sing-and-someday-when-I-have-sex-I'll-scream-then-too.

Top business schools generally prefer that candidates have at least two years of experience. However, while this is an important issue, not all schools consider it a hard and fast rule.
Of top b-schools, Chicago seems like one that would give work experience less weight because of the quantitative focus of its program. However, if they are trying to change their image, they may be giving it greater weight.
