Everyone looks the same in the dark, dumbass.

Unless you're saying I'm very dark skinned and I can't see why that would be an insult.

Walgreens. $8 for that little bottle. Relatively speaking, it's very expensive, considering you can get regular lotion for half that price and three times the volume.

That's $2/ounce compared to $.33/ounce assuming the Olay is 4 oz (??). Relatively expensive.

That's fine. Not liking isn't the same as dismissing out of hand.

Oil of Olay complete has sunscreens in it so it isn't a good comparison to compare it to regular lotion. Compare it to the cost of other products containing these sunscreens and I think you will find that it is not relatively expensive.

Huh?

Apropos of nothing, the Not Bobette rented "Eurotrip" last night. The song "Scotty Doesn't Know" is great.

I was asking why I would want to fade out of the picture entirely, like an annoying little brother who Mom finally sends to bed

PSA: Most skin cancer is a result of sun damage from childhood. If you have kids, make them wear sunscreen!! You should wear it too. You can die from skin cancer. (I'm sure SD will say you have to die of something, and, while true, shouldn't it be something more preventable than skin cancer?)

I have a college friend whose sister died of skin cancer in her twenties. After her sister's death, my friend quit her job to devote her time to skin-cancer awareness and create a foundation for skin-cancer prevention.

Or, don't listen. But at least get yourselves checked out by a dermatologist regularly if you're frying all the time.

(story about nun with pen in her head)

Not saying I'd volunteer for a head wound, but it probably isn't as painful as it is potentially deadly and/or debilitating.
I spilt open my right eyebrow in a sports related rage one time, and I had no idea that it happened. It didn't hurt at all, and (after I woke up) I was really confused when my teammates told me that there was no way in hell that I could continue the game and that I had to go get stitches. If it hadn't been for all the blood, I wouldn't have believed them. The stitches didn't hurt either. The hangover the next day did.

The GP that stitched me up really should rethink his calling and go into plastic surgery. You can't see the two inch scar unless you're really looking. And it's not because of any surrounding wrinkles.

Speaking of looks, I just got some email fashion thing from the NY Times where it asked what's the minimum number of products on your face you'll leave the house wearing. Apparently no-one except one guy can be seen in public without at least $50 bucks worth of mascara bronzer eyeshadow and hair shine on 'em.

I go au naturel almost all the time, except for maybe my summer lip gloss habit. FB?
